Fitzroy: Madame Sousou

Madame Sousou - Taken on 23 Sept, 2012

I finally met up with Natasha after shoveling our school work aside on this great sunday morning to settle for brunch! We've each been so busy with our individual work the past 3 weeks, and so we're back kicking to try out new brunch places today! Whee! :D Today's visit: Madame Sousou!

Located on the bustling Brunswick Street, where you can find rows of lovely boutiques and restaurants, is Madame Sousou, a quaint little french cafe that exudes style and warmth atmosphere. Felt as though we were nestled along the streets of France~

Upon alighting from Tram 112, we were looking around for the cafe but to only find out after crossing the road that, the place we originally were was the exact location of the cafe! HAHA, it is strategically located directly infront of the tram stop! We only managed to catch a glimpse of it's name from across the street. Soooooo Dumbbbbb, lolol.

Pain Perdu
Since i haven't regained my sense of taste, i thought it was useless to have something savory to enjoy, and hence i picked the Porridge with banana, tea-soaked prunes and beather honey. There was also cinnamon dusted on its surface. Nat wanted something savory, hence the Omelette. I didn't manage to get a shot of it's interior but it was filled with generous amounts of goat cheese stuffings. I can't deny a cheese lover to savor this really well. While something sweet for share is the Pain Perdu. As described in the menu, it is made of "French toasted almond, chocolate, raisin brioche, with cinnamon sugar, oven poached pear, golden syrup and La Latteria's fromage blanc". Sounds like a very complex dessert/dish but we felt it was alright, but the poached pear is amazing (well for me i love the crunch and i could taste a tinge of sweetness in it, and the other loved it!).

Natasha & I - Super Windy Morning >(
Caught up with nat for abit, i love sharing my stories with her because she always gives me the most truthful advise and opinions. It always feels like catching up with an old-friend who knows you best and whom you feel most-comfortable with, hahaha! She'll be gleaming if she sees this.

Along the way while roaming the streets, we popped by this place - Monster Thread, because i spotted lots of dainty accessories, paintings and cute PULLOVERS on display! This whole place feels very 'creative' in the sense that the designs of their products seems very unique and out of the box. I love the Monster Thread logo printed on its paper bag! Still considering if i should buy a red pullover with the Panda Robo home on my next visit ... hahaha does this just prove im not an impulsive buyer? :P But gotta admit the prices are rather jacked-up though, despite still buying a top and a pullover :X

Me & the Cute Panda Robo! on PAPERBAG!

Hehe, my very happy loots! :D
Aight, told myself to cut short my post for today but it still seem rather lengthy? I shall get started with EMP notes now! One more week of Spring Break to go~ Love life~ hehehe

Ciao!
